1) I can’t find my order / delivery email
First, check your spam/junk folder and search your inbox for “SoftwareLicense4U” or your order total. If you used an alternate email at checkout, search that inbox too.
- Verify your email address used at checkout
- Check spam/junk/promotions folders
- Try “order”, “license”, or the product name as search terms
2) Download & installation help
If you’re stuck downloading or installing, we can help you identify the correct installer and confirm the right edition/version. Include your operating system and any error messages in your ticket.
- Confirm product edition (Home/Pro, Standard/Datacenter, etc.)
- Choose the correct language during download (if available)
- Run installers as Administrator when required
3) Activation failed / key not working
Activation messages are usually caused by edition mismatches, typing mistakes, or attempting activation on an unsupported setup. We’ll help you verify what’s installed and what your license supports.
- Double-check the edition installed matches your purchase
- Copy/paste the key (avoid missing characters)
- Send the exact activation error text or screenshot
4) Account-based products (logins, subscriptions)
Some products are delivered as account access instead of a product key. If you can’t sign in or you’re unsure how to activate, open a ticket and include the product name and what you see on your screen.
- Confirm whether your product is key-based or account-based
- Try a different browser if sign-in pages fail
- Share any login errors exactly as shown

Advanced: Windows Server conversion help (DISM)
If you installed a Windows Server Evaluation edition, it may be possible to convert it to a full edition using DISM (without reinstalling) when you have a valid key for the target edition. If you’re unsure, open a ticket and we’ll advise based on your order.
Step 1: Verify current edition
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
DISM /Online /Get-CurrentEdition
This displays the current edition (for example, ServerStandardEval).
Step 2: Check target editions
To see which editions you can upgrade to:
DISM /Online /Get-TargetEditions
You’ll typically see targets like ServerStandard and/or ServerDatacenter.
Step 3: Confirm you have the correct key
You need a valid product key for the target edition you want to convert to (for example, Standard or Datacenter).
Step 4: Run the conversion command
Replace TargetEdition and the key with your values:
DISM /Online /Set-Edition:TargetEdition /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula
Restart when prompted, then verify the edition and activation status.
