Step 1: Access the Activation Window
For Windows:

Step 2: Start the Phone Activation Process
- In the activation window, look for an option that says “Use the automated phone system” or “Activate by phone”

Step 3: Choose Your Country/Region
- You’ll see a list of countries/regions
- Select your location from this list
Step 4: Get the Installation ID
- The system will display a series of numbers called the Installation ID
- Write down this Installation ID carefully. It’s usually 9 blocks of 6 or 7 digits each
Step 5: Call the Activation Hotline
- A toll-free number for your region will be displayed
- Call this number from any phone
Step 6: Provide the Installation ID
- When prompted, enter or speak the Installation ID you wrote down

Step 7: Receive the Confirmation ID
- After verifying your Installation ID, the system will provide you with a Confirmation ID
- Write down this Confirmation ID carefully. It’s usually 8 blocks of 6 digits each

- Type in the Confirmation ID you received over the phone
