1) Delivery (Digital Products)

Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page, all SoftwareLicense4U products are delivered digitally. There is no physical shipping for digital keys/codes.

1.1 What you receive

Unless the product page states otherwise, digital delivery may include:

  • A digital product key and/or activation code
  • Basic installation and activation instructions
Product pages may include additional details (for example, account-based delivery). Always follow the delivery description shown at checkout and on the product page.
1.2 How delivery happens

Digital products are typically delivered via one or more of the following methods (as described at checkout):

  • Email delivery to the address used during checkout
  • Availability in your account area (if enabled)
  • Delivery via support portal ticket confirmation (if applicable)

If you can’t find your delivery email, check spam/junk folders and verify the email address used during checkout.

1.3 Delivery time

We aim to deliver digital products as quickly as possible after successful payment. In rare cases (for example: payment review, order verification, or technical issues), delivery can take longer.

1.4 Customer responsibility

  • You must ensure the product you purchase matches your device/system requirements (edition, region, platform, etc.).

2) Downloads & installation files

Software installation files are not always provided directly by us. Where applicable, you can download installation files from official vendor sources (for example, Microsoft) or other clearly identified sources shown on our website.

Best practice for clean installs

  • Always download from the official vendor page when available.
  • Choose the version/edition and language that matches your product key.
  • Keep your installer file in case you need to reinstall later.

3) Returns, refunds & right of withdrawal

Because digital product keys/codes are delivered immediately and can be accessed instantly, they are generally non-returnable once delivered, except where required by applicable law or where the key is defective.

3.2 Consent & waiver

During checkout, you may be asked to provide express consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you may lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun (where legally applicable).

This helps ensure you receive your digital product as fast as possible.

3.3 If your key/code does not work

If your digital key/code cannot be activated despite correct use, we will investigate and, where appropriate:

  • Provide a replacement key/code, or
  • Issue a refund if replacement is not possible
3.4 What we need to help you fast

To process a defect claim quickly, submit a ticket via support.softwarelicense4u.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • The product name/version
  • A screenshot of the activation error (if any)
  • A short description of what you tried (steps taken)
3.5 Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are typically returned using the original payment method, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed with you. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and your bank.

4) Exceptions & non-eligible refund situations

Refunds or replacements may be denied if the issue is not related to a defective key/code, or if evidence suggests misuse. This does not limit your mandatory legal rights under applicable consumer law.

Examples of situations where refunds/replacements may be denied include:

  • The issue is caused by an incompatible edition/version/region selected by the customer
  • The product key/code was shared, resold, published, or used on more devices than allowed
  • The activation problem is caused by device hardware changes, unsupported systems, or incorrect installation steps
  • Evidence suggests misuse or fraudulent activity
